Wallen Festival

The annual Wallenfestival offers a chance to discover the  many hidden treasures Amsterdam has to offer. More than 60 places in the oldest part of the city centre open their doors for free during this weekend!

At the Amsterdam Marionette Theatre we offer you a unique look behind the scenes. We show you how the marionettes are carved out of wood, and you can have a try at playing the marionettes yourself!
